"Dragonfly Plaque"

Palette:
Americana FolkArt: Inca Gold, Antique White


Supplies:
1/2" Birch plywood, 1/4" Birch plywood, 19 gauge wire, 7 1/2" squre of mirror, mirror glue or epoxy

for glass, crackle medium, wood glue, acrylic matte spray finish


Cutting Instructions:
Cut 8 1/2" x 9 1/2" piece from 1/2" plywood. Cut out center as shown. Drill holes as indicated. Cut

dragonfly from 1/4" Birch plywood, cutting body and wings as separate pieces. Round edges of
dragonfly using sander.


Painting Instructions:
Base frame INCA GOLD. Apply crackle medium, following package directions, topping with

ANTIQUE WHITE. Base dragonfly INCA GOLD. Highlight with sponge using ANTIQUE WHITE.

Line letters with BLACK.


Assembly:
Glue dragonfly in center of plaque as shown. Add wire for hanger, curling wire as desired.

Spray entire project with acrylic matte spray.
